Membership

The Loma Linda Area Parks and Historical Society is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers and we rely on community support. Our members help make our community programming and preservation efforts possible. Last year the LLAPHS initiated an elementary afterschool program, the “Bryn Mawr History Detectives” which taught 4th and 5th-grade students at Bryn Mawr Elementary School about the process of doing local history research. Together the students created exhibit boards and presented them at the Bryn Mawr History Fair. In addition, our longstanding preservation efforts have saved many historic residences such as the Hinkley and Cole houses. Currently, we are working to preserve the Frink Adobe, built in the 1860s. These history fairs, educational programs, and preservation efforts would not be possible without your support.
